Foundation for Educational Excellence Approves 5 More Grants for 2012-2013 School Year
The
Clinton Township Foundation for Educational Excellence is pleased to
announce that five more grants have been approved for the 2012-2013
school year during a grant review held in March 2013. An initial set of
seven grants was approved in November 2012, bringing the total to 12 new
grants for the school year.
Totaling nearly $9,000, the five new grants – focusing on scholastic
enrichment, technology, and arts and education – will be implemented at
all Clinton Township schools (Spruce Run School, Patrick McGaheran
School, Round Valley School and the Clinton Township Middle School).
“For our children, it’s important to make learning fun and memorable,”
said Cindy Miceli, chairperson. “That’s why we are very excited about
the grants we recently funded, as each grant represents a unique way to
teach our children something new. We hope that these enriching
experiences will resonate with students.”
