2025-2026 District Goals

• Through cross-curricular literacy instruction and structured data reflection cycles, students' performance on benchmark assessments will increase measurably, advancing towards 80% of students on or above  grade-level  literacy proficiency within three years (June 2028). 

• Use the  strategic planning process to promote whole-child learning, meet curricular goals, improve communication, and to leverage committees dedicated to wellness and sustainability to continue to improve school culture and systems for all. 

2025 - 2026 Board Goals

• The CTSD board will decrease the percentage of policies that have not been reviewed since 2010, while maintaining current policy updates and revisions. 

• The CTSD board will work with the superintendent to prioritize and review job descriptions to better reflect current job responsibilities. 

• The CTSD board will monitor and evaluate cross-curricular connections and academic growth, including a regular review of aggregate and subgroup data with iReady. 

• The CTSD board will ensure strategic continuity regarding our finances and facilities work, as well as our annual and five-year goals.

• The CTSD board will commit to individual board member growth and earn the Carole E. Larsen Master Board Certification.
