* Hold citizenship and one year’s residency in the school district.
* Have no direct or indirect contract with, or claim against, the Board.
* Not hold office as mayor or member of the municipal governing body.

Pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, notice is hereby given that the Clinton Township School District Board of Education will conduct a Special Meeting on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, beginning at 6:30 pm, for the purpose of selecting a new Board Member to fill an existing vacancy on the Board of Education, and to conduct personnel business, as well as to discuss ongoing collective negotiations. 

The meeting will be held in the Clinton Township Middle School,

34 Grayrock Road, Clinton, New Jersey.  

The Board will convene in open session to open the meeting and then commence interviews of Board Member candidates.  The Board then will adjourn to Executive Session to deliberate concerning the selection of a Board Member candidate, following which, the Board then will reconvene to vote for a new Board Member in accordance with state law and district policy. The Board then will turn to personnel business in open session. Prior to adjourning the meeting, the Board will convene in a second executive session for the purpose of discussing ongoing collective negotiations. 

No action is anticipated following this second executive session.
